Angela and Brian engaged me to work with them on the renovation of their home in Windsor. I created a design scheme to pay homage to the history of the house and reflect a schoolhouse style.
The scope of work included the creation of a design scheme for the laundry, family bathroom, powder room, guest bathroom, master bedroom, ensuite, rumpus room, two teenage boys bedrooms and family lounge.
This included the selection of all interior finishes; tiles, sanitaryware, hardware, lighting, accessories and paint colours – even a special spot for the dogs to sleep in the laundry.
Custom joinery design for vanities, laundry cabinetry, bookcase, and bench seating in the rumpus room and an entertainment unit in the family lounge.
Sourcing furniture and decorative pieces for the lounge as well as custom window furnishings in the master bedroom and lounge.
Following the renovation, Angela asked me to style each of the spaces to add the finishing touches.

I look forward to working with Angela and her family in the new year on phase 2 of the renovation – a new kitchen and dining area.
Custom designed graphics were created as door signage. Each of the bathrooms and laundry in the house had their own wording with dates for when the renovation was completed over the years.
Industrial style lighting and hardware were sourced from Australia and overseas to add a sense of history and reflect the schoolhouse style.
To reflect the natural heritage of the house, we retained the original stained glass window in the guest bathroom.
The original doors to the family room were too beautiful to paint so we left them just as they were – perfect.
Her keen eye and expert design sense is beyond compare. She was such fun to work with as well as being a true professional.
