Refreshing a 25 year old home in Ferny Hills

Ari and Eileen had just completed renovations to their kitchen and wanted to refurbish the rest of their home.

The house felt tired and dated and in their words, ‘was in desperate need of a major facelift’. The design scheme reflected a Nordic aesthetic – a homage to family vacations in Scandinavia.

I loved the challenge of this project and the end result is a clean, white, bright and airy space they enjoy sharing with the rest of the family and their darling whippet Beau.

Being a dab hand with a paintbrush Ari completed all the painting himself to my colour specifications and Eileen set to work on reupholstering the dining chairs and sewing scatter cushions for the living areas.

From my Client

My husband and I decided very early in the project to trust Sarah’s judgment and design flair. Normally, we always opt for the ‘safe’ options, and are grateful that she encouraged us to move out of our comfort zone, and the results speak for themselves.
