Anne and her family engaged me to work with their builder on the renovation of their two-story home. Like many Queenslanders, the challenge was to maintain the character of the house whilst also making it a functional space. I thought long and hard before removing two windows in the family room, but it was the only solution to create much-needed wall space that could not only include a television but additional seating, storage and shelving.
Following the completion of the renovation, I sourced new furnishings to sit alongside some existing pieces as well as artwork, rugs, custom soft furnishings, bedding and accessories creating a relaxed and comfortable home for the whole family including their four gorgeous dogs.
The scope of work included the design of a new kitchen, laundry, bathroom x 3, rumpus room, study, lounge, dining, master bedroom and dressing room. Including interior and exterior finishes, custom joinery and furnishing throughout.
