Monique and her family purchased a four-bedroom house in Nundah following their return to Brisbane from overseas. They arrived with nothing more than a few pieces of artwork and handicrafts. I was engaged to fully furnish and decorate their new home to create a relaxed and colourful interior to reflect the individual tastes of the family.
All furnishings were carefully selected to add personality and style to each room. Some vintage pieces were also incorporated together with custom soft furnishings including curtains, bedhead and scatter cushions.
The result is a warm, friendly home that the family are thrilled with.
Furnish entrance, family room, dining room, lounge, kitchen, courtyard, 3 children’s bedrooms, master bedroom.
As well as the furnishings I sourced all bedding, kitchenware, artwork, rugs, decorative pieces, plants, towels – everything needed to complete a home.

Monique loved colour and lots of it. With this in mind, I found a statement piece of artwork which we hung in the kitchen and was the starting point for the design scheme.
We have just returned to Australia after many years living and working overseas so had to furnish a house completely from scratch – we owned nothing but some pieces of artwork! We realised very quickly that the task was going to be daunting so were soon on the lookout for an interior designer to assist.
