John, in his own words, wanted me to add soul to his apartment. The only stipulation was the speakers (which seemed to dwarf all the other furniture) had to stay! John loves his music and this was the starting point for the design scheme.
John wanted me to make the apartment feel as homely as I could and had nothing but a bronze kangaroo and some cricket memorabilia – so with music in mind, I created a gallery wall in the dining area. Along with furnishings I sourced a selection of plants and accessories to add the finishing touches to each of the spaces.
John and his son were absolutely delighted when they opened the front door to their new home.
The scope of work included space planning, updating the kitchen working with the existing footprint and carcasses. Furnishing the entrance, lounge, dining, courtyard and master bedroom. Custom joinery to house all things music as well as the TV.

The gallery wall of music made John’s apartment uniquely his and has become a talking point amongst family and friends when they come to visit.
Sarah was great fun to work with and kept the whole project on track in a very professional manner. Her hand-picked trades did a great job and worked very efficiently under Sarah's guidance.
